Michael T. Hollimon (born June 14, 1982 in Dallas, Texas) is a Major League Baseball second baseman and shortstop in the Minnesota Twins organization. Hollimon was called up to the Detroit Tigers from the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens on June 6, 2008 to replace injured shortstop Ramón Santiago.[1]

Michael Holliman attended Jesuit College Preparatory High School in Dallas, Texas.

He then went to the University of Texas to play baseball and was a part of the national championship team, but then transferred to Oral Roberts University after three years at Texas.

On July 3, 2008, Hollimon hit his first career Major League home run in a game against the Seattle Mariners.

On March 10, 2010, Detroit released Hollimon. He signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins during the 2010 offseason.
